OCTOBER 2013

Owner Anna Cirocco bought the business in October 2013, and together with her daughter Olivia, they began running their new shop, Dance Zone.

OCTOBER 2015

To celebrate Dance Zone's Second Birthday, we hosted a meet and greet with Dancer and California Kisses Ambassador, Tori Wade. A day of music, shopping, dancing and fun, Tori spent the day meeting our wonderful customers, while shoppers enjoyed special deals and discounts!

JANUARY 2016

The beginning of 2016 brought our very first Dance Zone Model Search! We absolutely loved the experience of having Brand Ambassadors, and working with the incredible dancers Tayla and Amelia.

MARCH 2016

After becoming AinslieWear's Exclusive South Australian Stockist, we could not get enough of their gorgeous prints, laces and mesh; we wanted to showcase these beautiful leotards in a fashion parade. We were so lucky to again work with our gorgeous customers, our Ambassadors and also AinslieWear's Australian Distributor, who flew down from Queensland to attend.

NOVEMBER 2016

3 years of expanding the business and introducing so many new brands, unfortunately meant that Dance Zone outgrew its premises. While we were very sad to be leaving the space we had nurtured and shaped, our busy worker bees were working hard to renovate our new shop. On November 1st, 2016, Dance Zone opened its doors to our bigger, brand new shop, just 3 doors down!

JANUARY 2017

With the success of our 2016 Dance Zone Ambassadors, we decided to host Dance Zone's Model Search for 2017. This time, we chose four ambassadors, because it was just too hard to choose two! A year full of photoshoots and fun, we are so grateful to have worked with Chloe, Charlotte, Amy and Giada!

JULY 2017

We were so excited to stock the incredible stage makeup brand Kryolan, that we hosted our first demonstration and information night. Tara showed us some tricks and tips of the trade with some makeup application and answered so many questions about the products and how to use them.

DECEMBER 2017

To celebrate the release of her new Goalz Dance Journal, Lucy Ellis launched her book in store exclusively at Dance Zone. The amazing guest teachers from Lucy's summer school also attended for meet and greets and to take photos with all our gorgeous customers! A night of games, giveaways and fun!

MARCH 2019

Our Pointe Shoe Specialists Olivia and Anna, spent many years growing our range of brands and styles of Pointe Shoes, to be able to fit every foot that walks into Dance Zone. After 6 years and hundreds of fittings, we decided that we needed a dedicated room for Pointe Shoe fittings, and so En Pointe was created! As result, we've now fit thousands of happy customers with their Perfect Pointes! Read more about En Pointe HERE

Today Dance Zone stocks an extensive range of shoes and accessories from Bloch, Capezio and Energetiks and are South Australia's Exclusive Stockists of Gaynor Minden and Grishko.

MARCH 2019

Thanks to Capezio, we have held numerous Pointe Shoe Decorating Holiday Workshops and Birthday Parties. With glitter, ribbon, gems, rhinestones, embellishments and more all included, we are delighted to have seen so many wonderful creations, as well as so many smiling faces!

JUNE 2021

In February 2021, we sent out a casting call for dancers to star in our very first Media Campaign. Over the next few months, Cirocco Media, organised and produced our campaign video.

Over 3 days of shooting, we had the opportunity to work with some of Adelaide's most talented dancers, in some very beautiful locations.
